Choptank Electric COVID-19 Policy

Due to growing concerns regarding the health and safety of our members, Choptank Electric Cooperative closed its lobbies, walk-in offices, and the Denton Drive-thru temporarily until further notice.
There are still many ways that our members can pay their bills. Those methods include our website and SmartHub, our Automated Phone Line at 866-999-4574, our drop-boxes located at our Salisbury and Denton offices, and of course we also have automated payment options which include bank draft and recurring credit card. (We accept Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX). Instead of placing cash in our drop-boxes, members needing to pay with cash can do so via MoneyGram, located in participating Walmart stores, and other stores across the Shore (http://global.moneygram.com/en/en-locator).
If you are struggling financially to pay your electric bill during this difficult time, please contact our Member Service Center at 1-877-892-0001 from 8:00 a.m - 4:30 p.m. to speak with a Member Service Representative. They will be happy to assist you in finding a payment option that works for you and your situation.
We want to remind our members that we are all in this together, and are doing everything possible to provide you with safe, reliable, and affordable electric service, as well as maintaining the safety and health of our employees and members.
