Broadband company and plan will be revealed!

The Choptank Electric Cooperative Member Vote effort passed on August 13th, 2020. We expect to begin connecting members to broadband in the Summer of 2021.

This is a massive construction/infrastructure project and it will take many years to connect everyone.

Members can sign up for our Broadband Updates mailing list at https://choptankelectric.coop/e-news-form. Please register your broadband information below to help us put together a plan for deployment.

When will Broadband be available to members?

We expect to begin connecting members in the Summer of 2021. Leading up to that, we expect to kickstart the business at with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. We will have deployment maps available in 2021 that will let members know when we think we will be building out in their community. This is a 10-year project that we hope to accelerate with grant funding.
