Youth Tour: The Trip of a Life Time

Make your junior or senior year of high school memorable by attending Choptank Electric Cooperative’s Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. from June 19-23, 2023.

Join more than 1,500 students from across America who take part in the Youth Tour experience each year! You will have the opportunity to meet your U.S. Representatives and Senators, learn about rural electric, and much more. This unique trip will allow you to watch history come alive as you explore the museums, memorials, and monuments with students from your state. You will meet student leaders from nearly every state and listen to dynamic speakers on Youth Day. Bottom line, you will make friendships that will last a lifetime and be part of a dynamic group of leaders that has more than 50,000 alumni in every walk of life.

About NRECA

The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) is the service organization that represents the nation’s more than 900 private, not-for-profit, consumer-owned electric cooperatives, which provide service to 42 million people in 47 states. They work to promote and support co-ops and to champion their business model.
